This is a vintage book on Printing in London from Caxton to Modern Times by P.M Handover.  It is printed by Ruskin House, George Allen & Unwin LTD, Museum st, London.

The book is on early history of new-gatherings, of advertisement blacks and displayed advertising, of women’s magazines. These are among the varied aspects of the London printing trade discussed in Miss Handovers book. Separate chapters are devoted to jobbing printing and the controversial competitive Bible patent. The considerable technical information includes detailed descriptions of 19th century press, and has many illustrations.

The book is a hard cover with a dust jacket. It does have some fading on the cover with marks and yellowing of pages. The binding is all in tact, and overall in good condition for its age. Please refer to the photographs.
