Vintage oil painting English pointer hunting dog country scene P Lambert

This is a beautiful oil painting signed in the lower left, “P. Lambert”. The detail is just magnificent and it is quite a large painting. I am unsure how old it is, but I think it dates early 1900’s to 1920s. It has a wooden dark frame, an there are tiny white paint specks on the frame and on the hound dog, which someone has painted there house, causing a splatter on the painting. It is of a beautiful scene, which I think is the English country side, of a English pointer dog in the Forrest, who has spotted a bird in mid flight. Please refer to the photographs.
