Antique pressed tin plaque British lion mounted on wood DPLW

The story goes….This pressed tin of a British Lion was taken from an old Victorian house and mounted on wood, and given as a present.
There is no date sighted. I can see that there are two tears in the tin, but it is held down with a screw. It has been mounted on a solid piece of wood. It has a hook on the back so it can easily be hung.
