If you are looking for mid century art, then look no further. This is a fabulous painting on Batik, circa 1960s. It is of an African woman carring her basket. The colour tones are brown, orange, purple and black. There is a signature on te lower right hand side, but I can not read it. The frame is wood and has a few surface scratches, and there is no glass in the frame. There is some very minor age spots or dust marks on the fabric.
