This is a very old Recording Ammeter, Murday System, by Evershed & Vignoles Ltd, London. It has a stamp that this equipment is the property of Commonwealth of Australia, Department of Defence production Reg, No RT 0294. There is also another plaque stamped Direct current No 1089422. There has been a new gold clasp put on the side of the ammeter to keep the door closed. It has lovely dove tail joins, a very thick leather strap, in fantastic condition, a glass window, so you can view the recorded measurement on the graph. There is some minor cracks in the wood on the left side of the analyser. There is no key to unlock the side. This is a very heavy piece, and would be a fantastic collectors piece.
