Vintage WWII Goggles Polaroid Aviation Goggle Kit No 1068

This is an amazing piece. WWII  leather pilots Polaroid goggles and shield kit.  It is stamped on the   goggles, “Polaroid, Aviation Goggles, No 1065, T.M REG, U.S., PAT off, and on the box “Polaroid Aviation Goggle Kit No 1068, T.M, Reg PAT off”.

The Goggles are made from leather. Above the rim of the one-piece lens, It has perforations along the upper edge of the rubber frame. This is to allowe  for increased air circulation to reduce fogging – a common problem with previous twin lens models.

The box comes with many different lenses, some in excellent condition, others have warped.

I would say 4 lenses are warped, and the other five have never been used and are excellent condition. The only thing missing from the kit is the instruction. Please refer to the photographs.
