Vintage 1979 Star of the Sea Presentation League Souvenir Teaspoon LGA 🦩

Vintage 1979 Star of the Sea Presentation League souvenir teaspoon, complete with its original L.G.A. Souvenir Tea Spoon presentation case.

The ornate silver-tone spoon features a colourful enamelled Star of the Sea emblem at the top, with the wording “Presentation League – Star of the Sea” and “Facta Non Verba”. The decorative handle has an intricate pierced design.

A handwritten note inside the original packaging reads “Star of the Sea U16 Champion Athletics House Sports 1979”, providing some interesting provenance and dating the piece to 1979.

The spoon measures approximately 11 cm (4.3″) long x 2 cm (0.8″) wide. It is a vintage silver-tone metal souvenir/presentation spoon with enamel detailing and comes in its original plastic display case. There is some age-related tarnishing and surface wear, particularly to the bowl, as shown in the photographs. I have not polished it.
