This is a beautiful mid century cake box. It is either made from some sort of plastic or it could be Bakelite. It is a pastel pink in colour, with a white lid. I can not see a makers mark on the container. It is in excellent condition for its age, with some minor fading on the colour pink. There are some minor marks too, which can be seen in the photographs. The lid says “Cake box”. Please refer to the photographs
