Vintage Neverbreak steamer trunk patent 100 New York New Jersey

 This is a very old Neverbreak steam trunk from New Jersey, New York. The age of this trunk could be from early 1900s to 1930s.  When we bought it many years ago, it had been painted black, but we have painted it white with silver trimming, put perspex on the top and caster wheels and used it for storage and as a coffee table, as it moves around with ease. This is a very strong and sturdy trunk, and I think it is made from wood. It has the original badge on the front. It is lined inside with old thin material, some missing in places.  It has a strong Neverbrake latch to keep the trunk opened. There are some marks and it is missing the front middle lock.
