Vintage ceramic dog wide eye figure figurine running OT3

This is mid century glazed ceramic running puppy dog. I would say it is circa 1950s. There are no makers marks, but there is a number on the bottom 5512. There are no chips or cracks, but there is minor paint wear. This is as cute as a button, and I’m not sure if it is from a “disney character”. Please refer to the photographs. I will hopefully take better photographs tomorrow!
