Vintage inkwell and fountain pen holder office mid century HTp1

I would say this is circa 1950s, inkwell and fountain pen holder. The materials used for the base is a jade colour and feels like solid glass. I don’t think it is made from Jade as the colour is uniform through out, as Jade usually has colour changes. The lid of the inkwell and pen holder is made from a plastic, quite possibly be Bakelite. The glass inkwell has a crack in the back of it which has een glued back together. There is no makers marks , and the metal does have patina on it. Please refer to the photographs.
