Vintage Medical Quack device Instrument Shock therapy AYLBT

This is a very old Shock therapy device, brought back from the USA. I have been told that this dates around the 1920’s. The battery which is not included sits inside the box. It comes with all the attachments, and has not been tested. Some of the handles of the attachments are made from turned wood others attachments I think are Bakelite. The encasing is made from wood covered in a mottled black covering. The latches on the box are made from metal which show surface rust. Inside the box is an emerald green velvet lining.
