This is a beautiful shawl and quite possibly be fox fur. It is fully lined on the inside. It has a metal clip and the fur is in excellent condition. It only shows a few signs of age, fading of the red lining’s. This was manufactured by F.J. Ellemor, Furriers of Melbourne. The fur is soft, but not super soft like rabbit fur, so I would say it is fox fur. The fur is in excellent condition, and no signs of aging or moulting.
