Vintage book Alistair MacLean When eight bells toll illus Vernon Hayles 1968 ylbt15

This is a hard cover book, titled ” When eight bells toll ” by Alistair MacLean, printed in 1968 by Readers book club. The cover is illustrated by Vernon Hayles who was based in Melbourne post WWII and worked as a cartoonist for the Melbourne Herald. The book is in great condition, with some minor yellowing to the pages. The dust jacket is in OK to good condition, but there are tears and creases, mainly on the biding. There is a tear on the back of the dust jacket.    Please refer to the photographs.
