Vintage book The Drifting island or The slave hunters of the Congo WT1A

This is a wonderful book called ” The Drifting island or The slave hunters of the Congo” written by Walter Wentworth. There is no publishing date, but I would say circa 1935. There is writing on one of the pages, and the original owner explains how she received this book in 1936 at 18 1/2 years of age. In 2001, she writes that she will pass it on to a 10 year old boy, and explains about the story, and how different today is compared to the past. She has also attached a poem called “The Slaves Dream”.

All the pages are in tact, and is a hard cover book. There are age spots and yellowing on the pages. It has 3 black and white illustrations throughout the book. Overall, I would say this is in good condition. Please refer to the photographs.
