Condition

Poor antique condition, with substantial wear consistent with its age. The binding and spine are heavily damaged with sections detached/torn, considerable rubbing and loss to the cloth covering, worn corners and edges, and foxing/age spotting throughout. The page edges show age-related discolouration and wear.

Despite the damaged binding, the internal printed material remains an interesting surviving 118-year-old medical reference. Please study all photographs carefully as they form an important part of the condition description.
