A substantial volume covering medicines, preparations and pharmaceutical practice of the period. An interesting survivor for collectors of antique medical books, pharmacy and apothecary memorabilia, British medical history or historical reference works.
The book has attractive burgundy cloth boards with gilt lettering and red page edges.

Condition
Poor / distressed antique condition. The back cover/binding is missing, and the remaining binding is coming loose and heavily deteriorated. There is considerable wear, fraying and loss around the spine, with age-related marks and wear to the pages. Sold as a collectible/reference copy in need of restoration.
